Apart from the positive, long-term impact of financial literacy and education, Alagang Home has also been responsive when help is needed immediately. Even as typhoons and other natural calamities create the worst and most challenging circumstances, Alagang Home steps up with the best effort to assist communities with generous donations in cash, kind and manhours.

As part of Iloilo’s local office anniversary celebration, they also put up a community pantry for those families affected by the pandemic, More than 150 families benefited from the activity.

Risk and Collections Team conducted a community pantry project aimed to reach out to locals of Quezon City, aligned with the team’s commitment to promote corporate social responsibility among its employees. Over 600 bags of basic grocery supplies, rice, and water bottles were distributed.

Donated hygiene kits to more than 100 families affected by the Taal eruption in Batangas and Cavite areas.

In partnership with Aklatan sa Kostal, a non-profit organization, Home Credit helped 407 Families (Tanods/Brgy. Health Workers) who are greatly affected by Typhoon Ulysses.

Donated to Kaya Natin Movement, a non-profit and non-government organization that promotes good governance and ethical leadership in the Philippines. Through our donation, we were able to build 30 houses in Sta. Elena Cam Norte) and was able to give relief packs to different families.

In partnership with National Children’s Hospital, HC heroes (HC employees) donated a total of 228 blood bags for the benefit of 9 children who underwent heart surgery.
