Wais sa Home is Home Credit's financial literacy program. It aims to teach Filipinos how to be financially responsible when it comes to saving, borrowing, online security and using the latest digital technology.

Iloilo City, Philippines | As part of our promise to empower Filipinos through financial inclusion and financial literacy across the country, Home Credit Philippines, in partnership with PESO Iloilo and the Iloilo city government, launched Its flagship Wais sa Home Financial Literacy program last October 6-7, 2022. The 2-day Financial Literacy program was attended by over 50 Overseas Filipino Workers and their families. Through the partnership, we hope to help our OFWs and their families become more financially wise and resilient so they can live the life they want to live now. 

Iloilo City, Philippines | Last November 4, 2022, Home Credit Philippines, conducted a financially literacy workshop and brainstorming session with PHINMA University of Iloilo as part of its mission to promote financial education for students. Under Wais Campus, Home Credit Philippines will be visiting different universities, colleges, schools across the Philippines to teach students how to manage their finances and inspire them to come up with financial literacy initiatives they can lead in their respective communities.

HCPH invited Fitz Villafuerte, a registered financial advisor, financial content educator, and blogger of www.readytoberich.com to talk about financial literacy and empower our employees to lead our Wais sa Home programs in their respective communities. At Home Credit, we believe that by empowering our employees to be more financially resilient, they can empower their immediate circles, peers, families, and communities-- helping us build a more Wais Nation.
